We were so excited to head out to Utah this year for Christmas. It had been 2 years since Brad had been back to Dugway and 1 1/2 years since Ella had seen most of her cousins. We could not contain our excitement for weeks before our trip. We flew into SLC to spend a week with Brad's mom in Dugway. We had SO MUCH FUN and were always on the go.
Ella was fantastic on the flight. She was so excited to be on the airplane.
Ella was also so excited for lots of snow. She enjoyed throwing snowballs, making a snowman and snow angels and even enjoyed shoveling the snow!
We had to make a stop by our fun cousins. Here is Brad and Steph. These two are goofy together.
Ella loved having Gracie to play with. They couldn't stop giggling together!
We sure wish we lived closer. These girls loved to play together.
Brad's all-time favorite mexican restaurant is the Red Iguana in SLC. It was a must that we stop and eat there. We were lucky to meet up with our great friends David and Erin. We miss them!
Next stop was Temple Square. It was beautiful as usual, even in the cold rain.
Grandma Sharon took us to see the Nutcracker. Ella loved the beautiful music and ballerinas. Our friend David, from the picture above, set us up with one of his classmates that works backstage with the ballerinas. During intermission, Ella and I got to go backstage and see all the costumes and watch the ballerinas practice. It was so neat. We were so grateful for the experience.
We also headed out to Heber for a ride on the Polar Express a.k.a the Heber Creeper. Ella was really looking forward to this. This was our first time on a train.

Opening presents at Grandma Sharon's. We got spoiled as usual. Ella was in heaven!
Brad and Ella made this snowman. Utah was having some weird weather. It would snow then rain then snow then rain. The poor snowman just kept tilting more and more the whole 2 1/2 weeks we were there!

We loved seeing you! It sounds like you had an action-packed visit. I don't remember you taking that picture at Red Iguana, but I will be copying it from your blog for my journal ;).
I loved all of the pictures! We liked seeing you at Christmas and hope we get to see you soon again! Also I love Ella's pictures they are so cute. She is so pretty as are you and brad as well!:)
Sorry...i made alot of mistakes in my last post :) You guys look like you're doing well. Loved all the pictures. Can't believe how big Ella is. Hope all is well!
